By now, many people have some knowledge what 'Sha Qi' / 煞气 is all about. Usually, they would relate to sharp corners, pointed objects, narrow corridors, on-coming road and etc. In Feng Shui, such forms are commonly discussed. Some people have developed misconceptions eg. about sharp corners.
Everywhere they go or sit, they tend to be uneasy having sharp corners pointing at them. The funny thing is that some have developed phobia against such forms. In which have unnecessarily affected their lives.
Book authors or practising masters have the responsibility to explain the truth. By indicating that sharp corners are are bad and give out 'Sha Qi' is only partial.
The fact is that millions of people who are leading 'good' lives did not know Feng Shui and especially 'sharp corners'. Everyday, they sat under beams, pillars and facing sharp corners yet the 'bad' didn't come to them as written in the books or predicted by the masters.
Yes, there are times where 'sharp corners' indicate the possibility of 'bad qi'. This is where one who is familiar with the Bagua and Yin Yang elements will be able to tell.
Sha Qi can come many other ways. It can come from water. It can come from direction or objects.
Therefore, don't be misled by book authors who are irresponsible or didn't have such knowledge and cause unnecessary misery or phobia in your daily life.
Colors
Its also very common for people to be concern with colors for their house or rooms. Some people are so affected by such beliefs that colors form an important part in Feng Shui that they restrict the color varieties over in the home.
When light is reflected by a colored wall, we perceived or feel differently according to our preferences and mood. Some prefer darker colors while others may find comfortability or soothing through muted colors.
So what has colors to do with Feng Shui? Generally little but also depends on environmental circumstances/ bazi. The only thing it reflects to a skilled master is the sign and state of the environment. When a house has good Feng Shui, colors become very secondary. It does not bring wealth and etc. Therefore the emphasis should not be on colors first. However, for a bad house, there may be necessary considerations. A master needs to assess how much colors play in a persons life or house.
Most of the eg. offices have white walls. Very seldom you have dark brown, black, green walls. So what will be the effects on the staffs or the Feng Shui of the Company? You know the storyline!!
Let your imaginations go wild (after you checked the guidelines from your fsm). Let your preferences and mood be displayed on your walls. Just feel good and be comfortable.
However, if you are running very bad luck, advise on colors is needed.
Other Shas
There are other shas such as exterior forms, heat/light/sound sha (vibration), internal Qi/ sha/ combo sha.
Overall, shas are not beneficial to the human body. Thus they should be dealt with with the correct means.
