A company may consist of 2 or more partners/ directors. Each contributes to the function of the company. There are pros and cons of having partners. One excellent factor is to benefit from another director's experience, knowledge, reputation, expertise and contacts contributing to the business. With each director managing his work scope/ department well, the organisation on the whole can grow at a faster pace.

For a director who is concern with the growth of his company, he cannot ignore the coordination and co-existence of other directors. When a director acted on his own/ makes his own decisions or become indecisive / lag behind in his contributions, it often results in dissatisfied partners.The problem is that sometimes these dissatisfactions do not show immediately. Worse is allowing an accumulation.

Depending on the characters of each Director, from a promising expanding company, there can results in slow progressive, unnoticeable business retardation.

A company Director not only needs to consult on the company's progress feng shui but also need to check company cycles, partnership compatibility, changes to partnership elements, key staffs' continued functionality and suitability with the company consistently.

Company's strategies, budgets, directions, marketing, products, goals, profitability and progress changes with times. So are your partners. What's in their mind now? Are you still assuming its the same aspiring eyes you saw during the start-up?

The building of a company to its present stage usually takes a lot of years of hard work. Do you want to let it crumple because of one partner? Are you decisive enough in dealing with human relations between partners?

The foundation of a company comprises first the contributing business director, admin director, marketing and comms director, managing director etc. If some already don't see eye to eye, the priority is to solve the partnership problems rather than ignoring it.
